We are the public sector local for  workers in Washington state.

We unite public service employees--at the University of Washington, at school districts, local government and non-profit organizations throughout the Puget Sound. Our New Strength and Unity plan has brought together public sector members of District 925, Local 120, Local 6 and Local 114 to make us 9,000 strong. In the four years since, University of Washington research technologists and medical-technical professionals have voted to join our union. Today we are 14,000 strong.

• Uniting public service employees and building strength through organizing new members into our union.

We are backed by the power and strength of the largest union in the United States, the Service Employees International Union. We are 1.8 million members strong and growing. Here in the state of Washington we have 40,000 SEIU members working together to build public and legislative support to make real improvements in our lives.
